This piece was inspired by an incredible day backcountry skiing the Library on Turnagain Pass, Alaska with some of my closest friends. The connection forged on days like this—between the mountains and the people you share the experience with—is what fuels my work.

Turnagain Pass, located in the Chugach Mountains south of Anchorage, is one of Alaska’s premier backcountry skiing areas, known for its expansive alpine terrain and access to countless lines above treeline.
