Sky Shredder : Acrylic
Sky Shredder : Acrylic
This piece is inspired and based off my time shredding the skies & mountains of Alaska, from the Prince William Sound to the Alaska Range. Flying my plane on skis and landing on glaciers to go backcountry skiing it my all time favorite activity in Alaska. So when the Alaska Airmen’s Association asked me to create a painting for them of the general aviation lifestyle in Alaska and the things we like to do with our planes, this is what I created. This painting was featured at the 2022 Great Alaska Aviation Gathering. The plane in this painting is a Piper PA-18 Super Cub.
