Mystical Love. This gold, copper & bronze original acrylic has so much symbolism in it. I started this in full finger painting mode, feeling into the messiness of life. Embracing that no matter how much you think you have it figured out or your shit together, life’s messy. It’s not always straight lines and perfect circles for anyone that’s human.

But with strength, courage and determination we dive into the chaos of life and turn it into the beauty we can see. So I picked up my brush and started calming the chaos.

Feeling into it layer by layer it started to reveal itself. My finishing touches were to add the Trumpeter Swans because they mate for life. I have always LOVED seeing them floating in the pond and lakes. In a way, they always gave me hope.

Last, I added mama bear carrying her cub on her back because as I am creating this baby in my belly, I am in awe of the female body. I’ve never quite grasped until now how magical of a process it is. I added that for all the mama’s out there.
